Code Pink: War in Afghanistan, for or against?

Reasonable observers have already realized that the pullout of US forces in Afghanistan will create a power and security vacuum that would inevitably be filled by the Taliban or other warlords. Who is Obama?

Who is Obama?

There is a lot of propaganda about this guy, much of it untrue, but the reason it’s out there is because he scares people. People shouldn’t be scared because he’s black (he’s half) or Muslim (he’s not). The New Yorker cartoon is only scary because people don’t get the joke. What IS scary is that he is a radical leftist with beliefs, ideas, and friends that are way out of the mainstream of America.

Unemployment Rate Actually Near 14%

“Democrats pledged that the so-called ‘stimulus’ would create jobs immediately and keep the unemployment rate from going above 8 percent,” Boehner said. “But since the ‘stimulus’ was signed into law, more than 3 million private-sector jobs have been lost. Of course, because of the date, and because what happened that morning, his remarks might have been missed by some. But not by all.

What Are Liberals’ Broken Promises on Health Care Reform?

1) There will be transparency in the law-making process. For the past month, the Senate Finance Committee has been debating health care. But, much to the surprise of many Americans, they haven’t been debating an actual bill. They have been debating and amending a 262-page description of health care reform. It’s essentially a summary of

President Obama wins Nobel Peace Prize

This is completely bizarre. President Barack Obama has just won the Nobel Peace Prize. It is unclear why. For making peace, of a kind, with Hillary Clinton? For giving up the missile shield and cheering up the Iranians? For delaying a surge of troops and weaponry in Afghanistan?

Obama’s Poll Numbers Are Falling to Earth

The American people are coming to express increasingly significant doubts about his initiatives, and most likely support a different agenda and different policies from those that the Obama administration has advanced.
