Obama signed a one-year extension of the Patriot Act and if you are not an American who lives under a rock, you should know what that entails. Democrats have said that this is giving power to our government that is not entirely justified, frankly, because defining a “terrorist’’ is a very difficult thing to do.

When the Patriot Act was first developed, it was looked at as a matter of national security. Many Americans thought that the bill was necessary to protect the values and current lifestyle of the United States. We did not want another attack on our country.

We all know that the events on September 11 were the acts of hardcore Muslim extremists that believed that we are in a religious war. The Muslim extremists were not attacking the conservative ideals, nor were they attacking the America dream. They were attacking the left-wing policies that we as conservatives have been fighting for years, but on a much larger use of religious value.

These terrorists were attacking abortion, same sex marriage, and other policies that many Americans have just turn their eyes to. I am far from saying that what these terrorist did was justified, but the left-wing activists have been terrorizing the United States for years. This of course meaning, tearing down the institution that is the United States.

The only problem that lies here is the hypocrisy that is Liberalism, regardless of what a conservative does, the conservatives are wrong. Leading to talk about a well-known liberal activist, Michel Moore.

Yes, Michel Moore is not only a liberal, but a hypocrite as well. In one of Michel Moore’s films, Fahrenheit 9/11to be specific, Moore addresses the Patriot Act and did his best to make the whole idea seem like it was the Republicans tearing down the freedoms of America.

Michel Moore hates the Patriot Act, it’s just the worst thing that congress has ever passed to him, and so all Liberals must feel this way, right? Wrong, Obama extending the patriot act is just saying that is was one of the only ways that the United States could help protect the many from the few. This is somewhat ironic, the fact that Michel Moore endorsed Obama. Since, former President Clinton was completely against anything of this nature during his presidency.

Michel Moore endorsed Obama over Clinton. Well, if any of the two were going to be against the Patriot Act, it would be Clinton.

Every Liberal seemed to hate the Patriot Act, but with the former most liberal member of the senate in the position of authority, the Patriot Act is extended? This is ridiculous, the Liberals are not against the Patriot Act, and they are against anything that a Republican does.

So why do I care so much that Obama signed the extension? Because I haven’t heard a single Liberal, even mention the fact the Obama extended it. When their Messiah is endorsing it, it is no longer an issue to them at all.
