Where we work
Thomas McKee Website Design & SEO Solutions is based at 1300 W State St, Springfield, MO 65806 and works with businesses across southwest Missouri — from the Springfield metro out to Joplin, Branson, the Lake of the Ozarks and the I-44 corridor.
Because web design, SEO, hosting and social media are delivered remotely and reviewed together over a screen share, distance changes nothing about turnaround or responsiveness. What it does change is the market you're competing in — and every page below is built around what is actually true of that specific town.
Since 1996: more than 600 client projects, and voted Best SEO in Springfield six consecutive years by Rising Star Reviews.

Springfield, Missouri

Nixa, Missouri
Christian County · ~24,000 · ~13 miles south · about 20 minutesNixa has been one of the fastest-growing cities in Missouri for two decades, and the business base has grown with it: contractors, home services, dental and medical practices, salons, fitness studios, restaurants and a swelling number of professional service firms serving a young, comparatively affluent household base.
Ozark, Missouri
Christian County · ~22,000 · ~16 miles south · about 22 minutesOzark is the Christian County seat, which means a courthouse-anchored professional cluster — attorneys, title companies, accountants, insurance — sitting alongside the antique and specialty retail trade around the historic square and a fast-expanding home services sector feeding new subdivisions.
Republic, Missouri
Greene County · ~19,000 · ~13 miles southwest · about 20 minutesRepublic is among the fastest-growing communities in Greene County, and its business base skews heavily toward trades and home services feeding constant residential construction, alongside the retail and restaurant growth along the US-60 corridor.

Willard, Missouri
Greene County · ~6,300 · ~12 miles northwest · about 18 minutesWillard is a growing Greene County community with a business base weighted toward trades, agricultural services, and the retail and dining growth following residential development along MO-160.
Marshfield, Missouri
Webster County · ~7,500 · ~25 miles northeast · about 30 minutesMarshfield is the Webster County seat, with a courthouse-anchored professional cluster, a growing commuter population working in Springfield, and a business base of trades, agricultural services, and the retail and dining trade drawn by the I-44 interchange.
Regional hubs
The larger commercial centres across southwest and central Missouri. Everything is delivered remotely, and travel for a kickoff meeting is available when a project warrants it.
Joplin, Missouri
Jasper and Newton Counties · ~52,000 · ~72 miles west · about 75 minutesJoplin is the second commercial center of southwest Missouri and the retail hub for a four-state region — Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma and Arkansas shoppers all pull toward Range Line Road.
Branson, Missouri
Taney County · ~12,600 residents · ~45 miles south · about 50 minutesBranson has roughly 12,600 residents and something on the order of nine million annual visitors, which produces a business count wildly out of proportion to its population.
Lebanon, Missouri
Laclede County · ~15,000 · ~55 miles northeast · about 55 minutesLebanon carries a manufacturing base larger than its population suggests — the aluminum boat industry has been centered here for decades, supported by a network of fabrication, coating and supply firms.
Bolivar, Missouri
Polk County · ~11,000 · ~28 miles north · about 35 minutesBolivar is the Polk County seat and punches above its population thanks to two anchors: Southwest Baptist University and Citizens Memorial Hospital, which together employ a significant share of the county and pull daily traffic in from a wide rural radius.
Rolla, Missouri
Phelps County · ~19,000 · ~95 miles northeast · about 95 minutesRolla is defined by Missouri University of Science and Technology, which gives the town an engineering-heavy professional population and a cluster of technical, geological and environmental firms that would be unusual in a city this size.
Osage Beach, Missouri
Camden and Miller Counties · ~4,500 residents · ~90 miles north · about 100 minutesOsage Beach has a small permanent population and an enormous seasonal one.
Monett, Missouri
Barry and Lawrence Counties · ~9,500 · ~40 miles southwest · about 45 minutesMonett carries a manufacturing and processing base substantially larger than its population implies, along with a significant back-office and technology employment presence.
Carthage, Missouri
Jasper County · ~15,000 · ~60 miles west · about 65 minutesCarthage is the Jasper County seat and the headquarters town for Leggett & Platt, which anchors a manufacturing and supply base well beyond what a town of 15,000 would normally support.
Questions about service areas
Do you charge more if I'm further from Springfield?
No. Pricing is identical whether you're in Springfield or Rolla. Websites start at $2,497, SEO at $797 a month, and there is no travel surcharge or location premium on any service.
How does it work if we never meet in person?
Most projects run entirely over email, phone and screen share, and that is how the majority of clients prefer it — it's faster than scheduling meetings. Kickoff calls for larger projects can be done in person in the Springfield metro, and travel further out is arranged when a project warrants it.
My town isn't on this list. Can you still help?
Yes. These fifteen have dedicated pages because they're the largest commercial centres in the region, but the surrounding 60-mile radius is served regardless — and clients across Missouri and nationally are handled the same way. Call (417) 812-6313 and ask.
Can you actually get me into the Google map pack in my town?
Honestly: it depends where you are. Google's map pack weighs the searcher's distance from your business heavily, so a business with a physical address in its own town has a real advantage there. What we can do everywhere is win localised organic results — the listings below the map — and build the Google Business Profile properly so your pack visibility is as strong as your location allows. You'll get a straight answer about your specific town on the strategy call, not a promise.
